"If Winter comes, can Spring be far behind?"
~ P.B. Shelly
Our North Carolina winter has been pretty slow in coming. Absolutely no snow... zilch... until now. February!
Please don't be mistaken. I am not a snow-lover. Especially now that I don't sled or ski. It's cold and wet. Nothing soaks into the bones worse than a wet cold. BUT... I love the view from inside. I love the ice... I love the drips... I love the absolute whiteness. I love the large white flakes falling to form a soft blanket over everything, with no bias or partiality. I love to think how God created each flake, big or small, to be unique in its own special way. I love the feeling of everyone being trapped at home with nowhere to go. I love the peace and quietness it brings.
And I love taking pictures.
Winter has come... finally. Spring is on its way...
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven:
Ecclesiates 3:1
